James Blake - James Blake
Debut record from the strongly tipped posh boy. On the radar of those 'in the know' since 2009's remix of Untold's Stop What You're Doing, but really coming to prominence with his cover of Feist's Limit to Your Love, 2011 could (and, one expects, will) see Blake reach many a middle class dinner party. Am I beinng cynical? You decide.

Quiet City @ FACT
Showing as part of FACT's 'Mumblecore' season, this 2007 offering from don of the genre Aaron Katz, is a typically charming low-key affair. If you're a newcomer to the scene, you could do worse than to start here.

Jonny @ Mojo
Jonny is the name of 90's indie survivors Norman Blake and Euros Childs's (of Teenage Fanclub and Gorky's Zygotic Mynci respectively) new project. Anyone familiar with the music of those two bands will perhaps be unsurprised that the pairing results in a delicious brand of bubblegum garage-pop.
